About us

The Daxburg is a listes building in the midst of Innsbruck’s old town from the 15th century named after Christoph Dax, the court painter under Maximilian dem Deutschmeister.

In 1983, the Daxburg was acquired by Karl Perger, butcher and hotelier in Innsbruck and completely renovated in 1997. Since then, his son, Michael Perger, lives with his family in the old town house. Perhaps it is the bond with the family business that led to the idea in 2018 to renovate parts of the Daxburg and offer it as an apartment in a unique location in the heart of Innsbruck for guests.

The carefully and high-quality equipped apartments are designed to give a feeling of homecoming after an exciting, eventful day.

How to park my car?

Access to the old town of Innsbruck and thus to the Daxburg-Apartments is only permitted for loading activities between 6.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. Parking is generally not possible, which is why we recommend our guests to use one of the underground garages around the old town. The city garage is about 300 meters away and can be reached on foot in 3 minutes (daily rate 14,--/car – information without guarantee).

What is included in the price?

The price includes the use of WLAN, dishes, towels and bed linen. Not included are local taxes (1,--/person over 15 years) and the final cleaning.

On request, we can exchange bed linen and towels or organize an interim cleaning during your stay. The prices can be found in the folder in your apartment.

Is smoking allowed in the apartment?

No, our apartments are all run as non-smoking apartments.

Check in/Check out?

On the day of arrival your apartment is available from 2 p.m. On the day of your departure we ask you to leave the apartment at 10.00 a.m.
